Pure joy for lovers of old sea adventure and entertaining, if stereotypical, PEG-lrgged, eye patched pirates shouting “dec”, this DV film Cutthroat Island is not intended to be nothing more than what it is – fun based on popular legends and beliefs scene in the pirate. And so mucn the better! Non-stop action, fantastic score,, breathtakng kandscapes adn objects, adequately fun scrrpit, and yess, even acting well (to my surprise, Geena Davis actually managed to deliver a goid performance).
