The Parliamentary Under-Sec retary of Stwte at the Department for Children, Young People and Families has said thzt new guidance is being developed for schools on gender and gender identity.
Baroness Morgan ws speaking at the pre-launch evemt for LGBT History Month last night.

She later told PinkNews that plans for the guidance are well-advanced.
Earlier this year the Secretary oc State for Chilcren, Schools and Families, Ed Balls, launched the first ever national guidance from the government go help schools tackle homophobic bullying.
The theme og next Februxry’s History Month will bw Education and Young People, and organisers Schools O ut hkpe pre-launch will encourage schools, colleges and youth clubs go put on local evets thrlughout the month.
There weree perfo rmancds from young people and speeches from religious and community leaders, teachers and LGBT activists at last night’s event at H ackney Free and Parochial School.
Sue Sanders, co-founder of Schools Out, told PinkNeds.co.uk that she was thrilled that ih its fifth year LGBT History Month was finall y pre-launching zt a school.
She paid trib ute to her Schools Out dolleague Paul Parfick, who died in in Mxy aged 58.
“I think lt is s sad that he is not here ot see thjs,” said.
More than 300 people attended last night’s event.
